A Weekend with the Stolberg Gourmet Hiking Tour |
| on the Copper Trail and the Vicht Valley Iron Works Trail 02nd October 2010 - 04th October 2010 Saturday, 02nd October 2010: Check in to your cosy hotel room during early afternoon. We suggest to relax today and spend the afternoon in our wellness area. Or you could book a cosmetical treatment or a relaxing massage at our team from Biothik Adelheid Gier! Sunday, 03rd October 2010: Today there will be a very special event: the first Stolberg Gourmet Hiking Tour on the Copper Trail and the Vicht Valley Iron Works Trail! Your day starts from 8 a.m. with a breakfast buffet at the Parkhotel in Stolberg. At 10 a.m., with one Els for the road - a regional herbal spirit -, an experienced guide will lead you along the copper trail, a partner trail of the Eifelsteig. Your tour leads along former sites of the most important copper courts and finally arrive at the Vicht Valley Iron Works Trail behind Vicht on historical tracks of the early iron production. At the Vichter Landhaus, you will stop over for lunch and a delicious glass of Eifeler Landbier. After that you continue along the former sites of the forge mills till Zweifall, where you will find an old Eifel coffee break at our hotel, with cakes and coffee from Stolberg and nice Stolberg coffee cream liquor. Onward it goes towards the restaurant Landhaus Solchbachtal with a short detour to the museum saw mill, idyllic in the Zweifall forest. There, your eventful hiking day ends with a dinner and a glass of Öcher Lager. Perfectly happy you will then return to the hotel. Monday, 04th October 2010: Today you will check out after breakfast, but you can still use the wellness area all day long. Package for 2 overnight stays sharing a Double Room in the Main Hotel Building per person EUR 157,90. Included is the breakfast buffet at the 04th October, all mentioned foods and beverages at the Gourmet Hiking Tour at the 03rd October 2010, the guide and free access to the wellness area at all days.
